The sublimation coating (a.k.a. the pretty design) is a little more sensitive. Over time, heat and high-pressure washing might cause the image to fade, scratch, or bubble. So if you want to keep your cup looking fresh and vibrant, hand wash gently using the soft side of a sponge and avoid extreme heat!
